Relevant experience:

I have been working as an emotional support therapist in three different Dublin inner city primary schools for over ten years. I sees children for individual play therapy sessions during school hours on the school premises.

Referrals usually are made by the principal on the basis of general observations of the child in the school, on recommendation from Tusla or on request of the parent/guardian of the child. Parents are offered regular review meetings to discuss the progress of their child.
