Early Years- Supporting Children with Attention and Behaviour Difficulties by Actualise Psychologica

Workshop Facilitated by Behaviour Specialist Mr Padraig Walsh:

Early Years are an exciting time for a child. They are discovering their world through play, social interactions and learning from what they see around them. However, this time can also present some challenges as often their communication skills, coping skills and social skills are not fully refined. This, among other things, can contribute to emotional meltdowns and behavioural difficulties.

This current workshop is being held as part of our Saturday Workshop Series at the Actualise Academy. We take the most current research in Clinical and Developmental Psychology, Neuroscience and behavioural Science and translate it into easily accessible knowledge that you can use to support your child. We help you to understand the message or function behind behaviour and the strategies that can best support children when their behaviour becomes difficult.

Attendees will learn how to use our very simple and effective:

  • Prevention Plan

  • Skills Teaching Plan

  • Managing Meltdowns Plan

This workshop is ideally designed to support children under the age of 4.
