The Tavistock Clinic Short Course in Working with Under Fives
This four day course aims to support professionals working in perinatal and early year’s services. It offers a psychoanalytically-informed model of clinical practice and explores developments in relevant research and service provision. The programme includes plenary lectures, live supervision and panel discussion. There will also be parallel presentations and workshops representing a range of services and parent/child interventions which delegates can attend according to their own particular interests. Daily small groups, facilitated by experienced child psychotherapists, ensure that every participant has an opportunity to bring an aspect of their own work for discussion.
The course will be conducted in English, although the course usually involves colleagues from abroad as well as from the UK.
