Attachment-based Circle of Security Parenting DVD Training, 12-15 Sept 2016, Ennis, Co Clare.

Dear all We are delighted to inform you that the attachment-based Circle of Security Parenting DVD Training is coming to Ireland for the very first time! It will be held in Ennis, Co. Clare, on Monday 12th to Thursday 15th September, ’16. Places are limited and we recommend that you book your place early! There is an option to register now and pay after July 1st. The Circle of Security Intervention is an attachment-based parenting tool which implements decades of attachment research in an accessible step by step way that can be used in group settings, home visitation and individual counselling. Once you have completed the 4 day training, you are licensed to deliver the 8 week group programme. All the materials you need are covered in the cost of the training. Since completion of the COS-P training in London last year, our Clinical Psychology Department has delivered the COS-P programme to a number of populations from our referral base including; Primary Care Parents; Foster Carers, parents involved in Child Protection Services and Early Intervention Services. We have found it incredibly useful as a conceptual and therapeutic framework for working with families. We cannot recommend this intervention highly enough for psychologists and other professionals working directly with children and families.
